Rev. Dr. Gloria Wade Dillon

The founder of Glory Ministries Church in Xenia, OH is Rev. Dr. Gloria Wade-Dillon, who was born in Zanesville, OH to the late Lillie B. and James E. Wade Sr. She lives in Xenia with her husband, Vermon, and they are the proud parents of two sons, Charles and Micah, as well as five grandchildren. Dr. Dillon is a pastor, poet, singer, preacher, teacher, motivational speaker, counselor, and after 35 years, a retired educator.


About Rev. Dr. Gloria Wade-Dillon


Educated in the Zanesville, OH school system, graduated magna cum laude from Central State University with a BS degree in Education, she has an MS in Counseling from the University of Dayton, and Doctor of Ministry degree from the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH, and has completed course work at Payne Theological Seminary, Wright State University, Antioch University, Seattle Pacific, and Louisiana State University. She is a life member and Silver Star of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Our Founder's Life Mission


Her life mission is service to all humankind. Her ministry crosses denominational and color lines, and she has presented or preached at churches, religious and secular workshops, and retreats throughout Ohio, Tennessee, New York, Louisiana, and North Carolina. Dr. Dillon traveled on pilgrimages to Ghana, West Africa, and Israel.


How She Founded Glory Ministries Church


The visionary of an annual Xenia Women's Ecumenical Conference, in 2008, she founded and became Pastor of Glory Ministries Church in Xenia, OH. A 2018 inductee into the Greene County Women's Hall of Fame, Dr. Dillon has received numerous awards, including OEA's Charles Glatt Human and Civil Rights Award. She is a humble servant, grateful to be of service to her church, community, and the world at large.
